Cornwall Yoga Retreat 2022

TO BE ANNOUNCED 2024 DATES

My husband Toby host retreats together every year. We invite you for a week of yoga and nourishing food in South West Cornwall. We aim to leave you feeling relaxed, like you've had a holiday all without the risk of taking a flight in our current times!
I lead morning and evening yoga classes everyday with a combination of dynamic and restorative yoga. Any yoga experience is welcome, all you need is an open mind and heart.

The Yoga

Open to all levels - beginners and advanced

I teach yoga that shifts the attention inward, whilst challenging the body to reach new levels in your practice. I aim to leave you feeling empowered and relaxed after this week of yoga, the sea, sunshine and good vibes.
I will be teaching a dynamic morning practice and restorative evening practice. We will work on different postures, explore Mandala vinyasa and yoga philosophy. I welcome all levels to this retreat, whether you're a beginner or experienced yogi. My aim is to create a playful and safe environment for you to explore the practice and take your yoga into your everyday life.

Misha & Toby's retreat was the first I had been to and whilst I was attending on my own, I certainly felt like I'd gained new friends by the end. This is testament to the environment Misha and Toby created for the retreat and the house - I couldn't have wished for a better first experience!

The house was stunning with everything you could need and more - an open fire, a lovely sun room perfect for reading and watching the weather of an afternoon and well-appointed, comfy rooms. It also had a lovely pool overlooking the bay, we even saw dolphins one morning. It's only short walk away from the harbour and beaches, as well as the village with plenty of restaurants and pubs. Our day at the beach and the boat trip with locals Elaine and Neil from Cormorant Cruising was particularly special. It was great to be able to visit some of the local cafes and pubs too, The Rock Pool Cafe and 2 Fore Street were favourites.

The structure of the days was a perfect combination of yoga, food, and being able to relax in the house, or head out to the beach or on a walk, on your own or with others. It was lovely to be able to practice and experience different types of yoga (new mandala fan here!) and new poses, as well as work on those you haven't quite been able to master at home, like headstands! I loved seeing my own progress and that of the group. The yin classes in the evenings were also amazing - Misha is an incredibly gifted yoga teacher.

The food throughout was beautiful, plentiful and served with wine in the evenings too, having food from around the world each night was lovely. Having food to hand throughout the day like fresh local bread and butter, plus any extras from breakfast or dinner (especially Toby's granola!) meant you could help yourself if you got peckish throughout the day and preferred to have a day in the house. The food left us all inspired to go home and make more exciting food - and hoping Toby will be publishing a cookbook soon!

Misha and Toby created a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere for the week, where it felt like a holiday with friends with a great yoga offering as well as time to explore the area and take time to yourself as you needed it.  Thank you to you both for such a great first experience. I can't wait for the next one!
